Me with my husband, Guy, on our wedding day - September 28, 2002.

Guy possesses the one requirement for being married to me ... patience.

Me with John Loring, design director of Tiffany's (as in Breakfast At)
and Patricia Neal, one of my favorite actresses ever.

Me with the late Tony Randall. He was a sweet, wonderful man.

What did you say, Greg? You want to show me your
super groovy bachelor pad, the one that used to be your dad's den?
Well, if you insist ...

Getting tough with Samuel L. Jackson.
(OK, it's at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in New York City.)

Me with the irrepressible Helen Gurley Brown recently in New York City. Mrs. Brown is the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan, the magazine she created. She is a pioneer among women in the media - and still one hot chick (she's 83 and still wears black fishnets, for crying out loud). For more of my shameless name-dropping, see my picture page. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Some of the coolest people I've met since I moved out here ...

Ophelie, Molly, Erin and Marysia.

Introducing Guy to rural life at the Kansas State Fair.

He'd honestly never seen a real live pig.
I'm from Kansas - I can't have my husband running around never having
been nose to nose with livestock, now can I?

Me with Sophie and Tucker, who live with my parents on their farm in Kansas.
I try to steal at least one of them every time I'm home for a visit,
but we never make it out the door.

So, without Sophie and Tucker to play with out here,

I amuse myself with my friends' dogs, like Autumn,

seen here in a rare moment of repose...

... and Peanut, who my friend Jackie just calls The Nut.
